Does anybody know where to get snake gourds, preferably in California. I'd like to try my had at making a didge from some but I'm not having much luck finding them online.
Thanks

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 5:58 PMHi Brian.
I've bought some on eBay before. Also check to see if there are any local gourd farms near you. Often if they have pumpkins, they also do gourds. Also do a google search on gourd shows in California. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a gourd show near you.
Good luck,

Fri, May 16, 2008 - 5:45 AMI tried to grow some snake gourds last year... the deer, rabbits and other creatures formed a conspiracy and destroyed them! It was a gourd plant massacre I tell you! First the leaves... then half the stems... then everything down to the dirt!!!
