Ok.. slightly off-topic here, but I know some of us are also interested in hang drums, but can't afford the dang things! This morning I happened to run across a DIY "Hank" drum, made out of a propane tank. It is basically a metal tongue drum, but it is laid out, played, and sounds almost exactly like an actual hang drum, and can be made fairly easily :D
