For the last year or so, Karl has been battling a form of Lymphoma. He was in the Cambridge nursing and rehabilitation center in Skokie, IL, recovering from his last round of Chemotherapy where he lasted a month and half. Karl passed away on Saturday, June 28 at 6:10 p.m. central standard time in a hospice surrounded by his family and held close to the hearts of all those locally who knew and loved him in addition to all those who knew what he was going through . His family is currently in the process of making the arrangements to have him buried in Cleveland with his grandparents. Locally his parents will be arranging a Memorial service in his honor in mid to late July. For the immediate present, there will be a memorial space created at Give Peace A Dance for those who wish to pay their respects. See the website for details.
