Hi everyone,
I know this is a didgeredoo tribe but I really need to learn how to swing bull roarers. I had one from australia with regular nylon strings . But this thing hurts fingers like hell. Is there any other way to use it or change the string with another material?? Or our fingers are just so weak that's why it will hurt one way or another.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Bull Roarers
Mon, May 26, 2008 - 1:32 AMYou can tie the end of the string to a stick or something, and hold the stick instead. Much easier on the hands :) Just make sure you tie it good... you don't want the knot coming undone while you're swinging it! -

Mon, May 26, 2008 - 9:58 AMThanks man, it is a good idea to tie small wood piece. Drill a hole and run through from there, this way it stays there when swinging. But, I am wondering aborigins, how are they handling??, maybe they have nice thick callus in their fingers. -

It's a good question... wearing a leather glove of some sort to protect your hand would be the easiest way to solve the problem. -
