We get hit with the "women aren't allowed" crap all the time.....while busking, on a youtube video, ad nauseam. It's almost as stupid as the "RICOLA" shout......we do our best to educate folks but it ain't always easy.
We went to the movie "Australia" last night and we thought it was well done, especially with regards to culturally relevant content. Parts of it were reminiscent of "The Rabbit Proof Fence." I seriously doubt that Nicole was pronounced "barren" by Aboriginals. More likely the outrage came from uneducated "Balanda."
