Tue, July 29, 2008 - 11:34 PMAwwwww.... thanks guys.
That was just a random improv at a party. I'm surprised that it got filmed.
Paul is a remarkable violinist, and I had just met him earlier that day.
I wish two things: 1) That I had a mic and 2) that we had been more in tune.
Oh well. That's how it goes at late-night jam parties.
Glad you like.

Wed, July 30, 2008 - 11:09 AMthat was one heck of a late night improve, sounded great, especially considering that you didnt have a mic or time to get 100% in tune, it was cool enough that i didnt notice :) Its not often that 2 people who are great at their instrument just run into each other and jam. what didge was that you were playing? take care

Fri, August 1, 2008 - 8:54 AMThe didge was made by Bill Hanes, and I love it.
It breaks down into 3 pieces, and is super for travel.
His site is here www.billhanesdidgeridoos.com/
Sadly, I will not be at any of the didge fests this summer. Happily, this is because I just landed a job with Cirque du Soleil (playing keys), and that is taking up most of my time and mental bandwidth.
I just saw that Stephen Kent and Ondrej Smeykal will both be at JT.
What a Combo! Boy, it would be cool if they could play together. Total opposites, style-wise.

Fri, August 1, 2008 - 2:47 PMI'm actually playing keyboards in "KA" which is the resident show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
It's a massive show (I believe, the most expensive live show ever produced) and it ain't goin anywhere.
I think I have one more tour in me before it's all over, but right now I'm happy to be working from home.
